returning Unjury?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have 3 unopened containers of powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury powder. I want to return them or sell them. It was great but my taste has changed and now I don't like it. When I first had surgery, I could put it in coco or Soup and it was great. Now, no matter what I put it in, I taste it. I still have an opened container and I try it again every so often to see if I can eat it but it is a no go with my taste buds.

What is the easiest and best way to do this? I emailed the company and they sent me the return form. I don't have the box they came in so I have to get a box to ship it back if I go that route. So has anyone done this before? What is the best way to ship it?

Just ship it one of the flat rate boxes from the US Mail or via UPS. keep your tracking info and package it well. When I ship powders I tend to put them in a tearless envelope THEN in the box. Tape well, write the physical address, return reference number and tracking number in at least two locations on the box and I would include your contact number on the flip side of the innermost protected flap. If it is only 3 canisters I would not insure it, USPS insures to 50$ and USPS insures to 100$ automatically.

It is a wee bit overkill, but return departments can be loosely organized. (Logistics Supervisor also in charge of S&R, AR& AP so I am somewhat paranoind!).

You might list them on Craig's List first. I tend to look up just about everything I buy just in case I can find a great deal locally!

Before returning check with your surgeon's office. Maybe they can recommend someone to sell it to.( Maybe put something up where their patients can see it) Would save a lot of shipping hassle if someone local wished to buy it. Also try the Craigslist idea.

I am on edge of north Dallas, TX. I have 2 containers of Unjury unflavored and 1 container of chocolate Splendor. I also have single packets of almost each flavor of Unjury. I have single packets of most flavors or Syntax nectar. I used the stuff right after surgery but now my taste and diet has changed. So yeah if anyone is close to surgery, they can private message me. I don't want to break any forum rules.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
