Weigh in number 5 of 6 with my PCP and a ?

Recommended Posts

Well I had my weigh in with my pcp on saturday. I gained 5 lbs from last time when i was 252. I kinda knew it (aunt flo is in town as well so maybe that added like a pound). So when i started i was 251 and now im 257. great....just great.... I have my last weigh in on sept 21 and then i will go back for my second surgical consultation.

My Pcp suggested for me to lose btwn 5-10 lbs. I hope this can be done in 3 weeks.

The question is for those of you that had a 6 month requirement.... were they very strict about the visits being a month apart exactly . For the most part my visits have been but this last one is about a week shy of being a month..

Yes I have Bluecare network in Mi and they are ver strict with your pcp appointments if theybare not consecutive for 6 months straight you have to restart all over again.

Sounds like you're asking if they have to be exactly 1 month apart?

Check with your surgeon's office. You'll want to be sure for your ins requirements.

I know one of my months was 5 weeks apart and another month 3 weeks apart.

Yes. If I missed a month I would have had to start all over again.

Yes this is exactly what i am asking. Do they have to be exactly one month apart. so far i have weighed in on 4/29, 5/25, 6/29, 7/27 and 8/31. my next one is scheduled for 9/21 is that far enough apart?

That was similar to my situation but I would still check with the office that will send in your info to the ins for approval. They should know for your ins.

My 6 months (thru bcbs) have to be completed consecutively but the actual dates in the month don't matter. Like everything else, seems requirements are across the board :/

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
