So what does the Excellent thing on our profile mean and why does the number jump around so much?

The level is tied to your reputation. It is determined by the number of likes you receive on the posts you make on the forum. i believe the level order is neutral, good and then excellent.

That is what I thought but the number changes all the time. I wander if they clear it out monthly, weekly heck I don't know. I just know one day it will be 200 more than it was the day before. I know I don't post that much!
