I love pancakes, so I understand your craving...on my dietary plan, pancakes aren't allowed until at least 6-8 months out

I would love to eat one but I know it wouldn't sit well with me.... Carbs don't yet like me.

December is soooooo far away lol although I will prolly only be able to eat a bite or 2 but I dont care lol

I nibbled at about an ounce of a waffle. I think because it was crispy, it went down better than a spongy pancake would. It was all I could handle and it satisfied that funky craving. This was at 8 weeks out.

I had half of a pancake last week on vacation (3 mos postop). So far it is the only food that has not sat well. I didn't throw up, but didn't feel well for at least an hour.

Well that sucks:(

I used to make them with almond flour- literally taking whole almonds and grinding it to flour. Did pizza crust the same way. Tasted pretty good. I'll have to ask about these...

Pancakes! Oh how I love them. Alas, they were hard on my stomach preop. I'm afraid to try them postop.

There is a recipe on sparkpeople.com for protein crepes made with egg whites and protein powder. It makes 3 crepes. I used vanilla muscle milk powder and it was like a really thin pancake. I put a little SF syrup on there. Pretty good. I could only eat 1 but the others reheated well!

I'm 6 weeks out and my NUT said I could as long as I could swallow and tollerate them....

You can buy Atkins baking mix and make them too.. They have this and other pancakes at Bariatric Choice.

There is a thread here with a twenty dollar credit for signing up and spending thirty.
