  1. Hello all!! I was sleeved on 7/1/14 and was 304. As of today, I am down 72 lbs. I am very discouraged because I haven't lost any weight in many many weeks. I had my gallbladder out this week and hope this will help. Any suggestions??
  2. Proton pump inhibitor. I take protonix..... To keep the acid in the stomach down.
  3. I take the B 12 shot son idiot have yet another thing I have to swallow!! I love it too!
  4. Thank you for this post. It is encouraging to me. I was sleeved on July 1 and am down 74 lbs. I feel stuck...
  5. I am almost eight months and have had zero complications. My only issue has been my gallbladder. My dr said that is common with massive weight loss. Taking a handful of vitamins is pretty basic with any bariatric as is some hair loss while your body adjusts. My hair loss has been minimal. I have no regrets and would do it again tomorrow.
  6. My nutritionist told me to increase my calories when I work out.
  7. I was sleeved on 07/01 and am down 72 lbs. I have gone from a size 26 to an 18!!! I want to loose 90 more
  8. I was instructed not to.
  9. I too lost band size and went up in cup size. I went from a 46 C to a 42 D. I can tell you that my boobs do look like the air has been let out!
  10. They also have whole wheat pasta! It is great!
  11. I was on liquids for two weeks post op and soft foods for four weeks after that. Your tummy isn't ready for foods so heavy. I will also call your surgeons office
  12. Did you actually use a straw??
  13. I want to sit in my husbands lap and not feel like I am squishing him.
  14. I burp when I am full. I don't mean a little under your breath burp either. I mean a burp like a sailor. It is so embarrassing!!!!!
  15. I tried to watch it but it was just too weird for me!
  16. I had a one night hospital stay and no drain...
  17. Agree! Victoria has never had anything big enough to hold my secret but it won't be long now!!!
  18. I had lots of pain for the fort eight days. I couldn't go from sitting to standing without help. HOWEVER, I had to have two more incisions than anticipated because of the enormous amount of fat that was surrounding my liver. Dr told my husband that a fairly simple procedure became rather complicated because of it. I say that to say there was a lot more going on in my guy that most peoples. The Tylenol 3 dint help me at all. After three days of crying- not from he pain but for no reason at all- we discovered that is was the codeine in the T3 that was making me cry. Ugh!!!
  19. I started at 304, was 287 the day of surgery and am 235 now. Still 90 lbs to my goal but it's coming off slowly but surely!
  20. I feel as if I am a slow looser too. I was sleeved 07/01 and am down 69 pounds as of today. I read of people sleeved after me that have lost in excess of 100 pounds. Makes me frustrated and sad but if I have to loose 1-2 pounds a week so be it.
