  4. I have had PCOS for ten years. The weight that came with it I done reason for my surgery. Can't wait to try to get PG in 18 months!!!
  5. I was in horrible pain for about eight days. Had to stop taking the Tylenol 3i was sent home with due to a codeine allergy. I thought I was going to die! Walking is the best thing to help pain- I promise!
  6. I had a period three days after surgery and it lasted for a while. My doc said it started from the trauma to my body from surgery. I am on the shot and am not supposed to have a period at all. I also have PCOS.... Would love to chat with fellow PCOS folks!!
  7. My ride was about 30/45 minutes and I thought I would die. The vibration of the regular road was painful enough not to mention the bumps, railroad tracks, etc. I would not drive that long if I had another choice.
  8. NSV today! I went to the lane Bryant Labor Day sale today. Before surgery I was wearing a 26/28. I tried in 22/24 today and they were too big- by A LOT!! I bought 18/20 and they fit perfect!!! So excited!!!

  11. I find that if i don't eat every two hours or so I don't get enough calories or all my Proteins in. I don't do Protein shakes anymore.
  12. I showered the day after I went home- so on the third day.
  13. I made up my mind before surgery that this was a complete life changer for me. Not saying that I have had weaknesses but after surgery- and after my two week liquid only diet- I didn't WANT to eat bad things anymore. Still don't- almost 9 weeks out.
  14. Hey everybody!!! I was sleeved July 1st and weighed this morning and I am down 50lbs! So excited!!!!
  15. I couldn't stomach the centrum chewables. I take a hefty women's multi with a separate Iron.
  16. Totally normal. Try taking smaller sips than you think is necessary. Good luck to you!
  17. I totally understand!! But do remember that we all heal differently and most men loose weight faster so probably healing faster too. Don't feel weak. Just try to think of why you did this and that you are on your way to your goal. Good luck on your journey!
