  1. I agree. The concept is great- to be able to get that much protein in just 3 oz. However, it tastes like cough syrup or maybe worse!
  2. I am on the depo shot. Hope it works!
  3. I found gummy b12 that I only have to take once per week at Wal mart.... They taste fine!!
  4. The Water temp thing will get better.....
  5. I was sleeved on 7/1 and am down 23 pounds but am also stalled. I did find that if I didn't get in enough calories I would actually gain!!! However I haven't gained anymore just not lost any either. I'm thinking I am not getting in all my protein ????
  6. If you had a leak you would know it!! You would spike a high fever and Benin excruciating pain.... No worries.
  7. I know!!! The first time I went after surgery it was so hard. I wanted popcorn and coke so bad!!!
  8. I started having seriously less pain on the eighth day. I promise it gets better everyday. Hang in there!
  9. What kind of meat were you using?? And could you eat the whole thing? If you will get extra extra lean ground beef it will help- or at least it has less fat.
  10. Yes and no even gained five pounds. I wasn't getting in enough calories. I have lost everyday since I upped my calories. However, the everyday loss will stop after a while. So, I suggest we not weigh ourselves everyday but once a week.... Just a thought... ????
  11. I am having problems too. My nurse said to take Miralax. It have taken it three days in a row with no success.....
  12. That, too, is totally normal. I cried when he lady came to do my IV, I cried in pre op, and I cried on the operating table just because I was scared to death. Everyone was so nice and understanding and encouraging. They understood how I felt.
  13. I promise it will get better!! My dr have me a schedule to drink by- as suggestions. He wanted me drinking 4oz every four hours. Water, then crystal light, then soup, the. Protein, then sf jello, etc. just remember to take it slow and constantly sip on something. Pretty soon it will become a habit! Good Luck!!!
  14. Mine had to do this as well. My liver was very enlarged and fatty. I was sleeved on 7/1. Congrats to you!
  15. I called my dr office and the nurse put steri strips on it. The problem with that, which is why my dr used the dermabond to begin with, is that I am allergic to bandage adhesive. Everywhere it touches looks like red puff paint and itches like the dickens. I made myself leave it on for 24 hours but it is still open- healing- but still not closed. I am on antibiotics for infection.
  16. Good to hear. My dr ok'd gunmies too. I tried liquid multi and it wouldn't go down ????
