Just paid the rest of my balance! Everything is a goooooo.

Also just found out that my friend and I don't check into the Marriott in Tijuana until 3 pm and we get to San Diego a few hours before so we're going to make a mini vacation out of it and go see the zoo. Never been to San Diego so this will be fun!

Oh boy, that zoo is gigantic and expensive, and there is a lot to see if you have just a couple of hours. Pretty exhausting too. maybe you could rent four wheeled scooters ( electric convenience vehicles) at the entrance. You might check that check that out. GOOD LUCK WITH SURGERY!

I sooooo jealous you get a salad and chicken lol! I just chug a shake when I'm hungry today was 4 shakes and a yogurt. I have never coveted a hotdog so much in my life when my husband was eating dinner lol!

My hubby ate a salad with me and it seemed like I needed 3 more salads. I need to drink more Water and I only drank 1/2 of one Protein Shake. I will ask the doc if I can have yogurt. It feels like a food monster is crawling out of my stomach. Lol!

The pre op liquid diet does get better. My surgery is scheduled for Sept 12. Tomorrow will be 1 week down of this diet. Day 4 was a bit hard because I was just so ready to chew my food. But the last few days have been really good. I space my Protein out through out the day drink my last one around 530-6pm when cooking dinner for everyone. Then I just drink drink drink Water plain or flavored till I'm about to pop. During the day I've been chewing a lot of gum as well. Hang in there guys it's all worth it in the end.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
