SO how was our weekned girls?

Mine was weird, and I found myself stress grazing...sh*t....I am so scared now that I am going to gain weight. But 1 weekned won't kill me right?

David and I had a long talk. We went to my best friends house and she was upset at her boyfriend. How he treats her, how he makes her feel ect. When we got home David realized that she has the same life that I do. He asked me if I hated my life as well... I was honest and told him that yes I do. I hate getting up everyday and being treated like shit. He told me that he was sorry and he wanted to change. I laid it all on the line and told him it HAS to change or I want a divorce. I can't do it anymore. I hate being married to him, and I am not gonna hide it anymore. I guess time will tell if he changes. Maybe seeing another woman live like I do really did do something for him. He saw how afraid she is and how unhappy she is. I told him she is me, and I have thought many times about just leaving the girls and running away. I can not take anymore.

I go to the PS today if I can make it, they changed my appoitment and I have a test at school I can not get out of...ugh...

Her is Betty btw, girls.....UGH....she will get better, but this SUCKS!! I am thankful to be alive, that has finally hit me that I could have killed myself....

BooBooTitty! YOU LOOK AMAZING!!!!! I am sooooooooo impressed with that photo of you in the white shirt with your hipbones sticking out! Congratulations! And I am forever in envy of your ample busoms. My girls are going the way of the dodo, unfortunately. I was only a pleasant C to begin with, and now they're a stingy C, moving into a modest B. Oh well.

bkwalling - how was your move?

I'm checking in for the week (haha) Seriously, things are still great. I was out of town for a working weekend and am incredibly proud to report I resisted all snacking the ENTIRE WEEKEND! No pizza, chips, candy, or huge plates of food. I ate in moderation and made good food choices. I also exercised every day I was gone. I effing rock!

Now for the question at hand. Has anyone calculated the nutritional value of a 20oz., soy, sugar-free vanilla latte? Cuz I've been drinking one every day. I am (wishfully) thinking it's probably around about 150 calories with 6 or 7g sugar and 10g Protein. But I'm not sure. Anyone?

Have a great day!

Nathalie

:kiss2: kisses Natster!!!

I had a good weekend, my daughter has been home from college so thats been great! We figured it had been Christmas the last time she was home for more then one night. She has been so stressed and really enjoyed being home - she leaves tonight. We went to a wedding on Sat. it was good, we left before the real partying began - I did not overeat at all - the food wasn't the greatest so it wasn't a problem. Then we went to to her boyfriends house on Sunday for dinner. His mom made this whole big thanksgiving dinner - ugh! I was so afraid of pb'ing that I took the teeniest amounts I could get away with and all was well. I told Raquel that I'd be so humilated if I had to excuse myself to go throw up - so I was actually hungry when we got home. LOL - OH I forgot, my son and his wife came over for dinner on Friday evening. It started out to be 11 people but things got changed around and it ended up being just him, dil, dd and me. But we had such a good time. Theres been alot of tension between my two oldest kids for about 3 years and on Friday it felt like old times. When my daughter broke up with her bf before she went to college my son took his side and so that hurt her, then when ds got married they didnt' have either of his sisters in the wedding, more hurt feelings, so it was just so good to see them laughing together again. I guess time heals. This was so hard on me, they are only 20 months apart and they were always so close, from when they were little and played together to teen years when they hung out with the same crowd - he dated her friends, her his friends - and then they suddenly hate each other, can't hardly be in the same room together - it was terrible but Friday was wonderful - just us laughing and having a good time.

Boo - I'm glad you and dh had a good talk. Sometimes it takes something like that to make them open their eyes. I hope he really does work at it.

Nat - good for you! How's the little guy? How's your love life? Still seeing the guy? And whats up with your job, didn't you get new management or something?

Bk - Did you get moved in? I know its alot of work.

I'm still slowly losing - I don't feel so obsessed with the weight issue and it seems to still be slowly moving down. The oddest thing is that these last 5 lbs that I've lost it seems that more people have noticed then the first 30 that I lost. Maybe its bc I'm wearing smaller clothes so they fit better and people can see my shape better? Went to church yesterday and I got into a skirt that I wore 10 years ago - and a blouse that I couldnt' get buttoned just in May. I felt really good. I realized yesterday that I don't feel FAT anymore. I still feel overweight and know I don't look as good as I want to but I don't feel obese now.

Have a good Monday girls - love ya!

HEY GIRLS, well I thankfully had a pretty non eventful weekend. Saturday we went to a starward convention on base and my 2year old won the costume contest. she was yoda! it was so cute.

There was no church on sunday so i got to relax all day, well sort of we set up our girls some bunkbeds in their room, so that was quite a job.

Monday was a holiday so we went to a few german stores to look around.

Today I am back strict on phase 1 again of SouthBeach. I finished phase one a week ago and then went to phase 2, and then had birthday cake and couldn't stop from there. so now i need to go back to phase one again. it's been a week since i've weighed, so i'm going to weigh tomorrow. i hope i lose another 8-10lbs in the next two weeks! that will give me only 20 or so more lbs to hit my year end goal. I think i can do it if i cut out the carbs.

Good thing is that when i fall off the bandwagon i don't gain it back. so i need to sacrafice and just get these lbs off so i can relax!

there is cake in my kitchen! how will i turn it down today? last night was family night so we baked a cake together. why do i do these things?

Yay Brandy! I hope all your PS stuff goes well, bummer about the C cups vs D cups but a large C on your frame will still look really nice! :) I'm getting my PS in December, too - a lower body lift & Lipo on December 3rd to be exact, 8 weeks from yesterday (yes, I'm terrified!)

Oops, gotta run - hope all my ladies are doing well!

Hey all,

Checking in from what seemed like a really long weekend.

Big smooch to Nat..I have missed you!

((Boo))) I hope things take a turn for the better with DH. You deserve to be happy and have peace. You are a catch and ought to be adored! I do hope DH makes that realization and makes the changes!

Annie...love the ride! Very sweet and I bet you are rocking it. You are that hot girl in a hot car! Way to go.

Steph-I know it is tough to have strife among the kids. I hope time does heal it all and things will be better. The biggest thing I would want to deter you from is playing the middle mom...I have that stuff in my family and it is awful. (not my mom but my grandmother, aunts and uncles). You know, like mom calls one child to report what another one wants said but doesn't let them speak to each other themselves. It is an odd attempt to keep the peace that in reality creates so much more chaos. I don't see you doing that though. You are too smart of a cookie for that. I am glad you all got to laugh and enjoy each other. What could be better?

I had a fine weekend. It was busy with work and some family obligations. My eating was good but I am really struggling. I am finding my workouts are keeping me in check but I have minimal restriction. I had tried to convince myself to not get fills, and that I could do this on my "own". What a spaz! I feel like I have wasted the better part of 5 months of having this band. I am going to see the MD on Thursday and I hope to be in a better place. I make reasonably good choices the majority of the time, but I can eat too much.

I will say though that the compliments pour in. I have not lost much the past few months, but I think I have tightened up. My arms and legs are STRONG! My cardio level is impressive and overall I feel good. I just don't see it reflecting in the scale. Hopefully this fill will change all of that!

I am exhausted and have to run. I just wanted to say hey!

Good morning lovely ladies!

Va - I have you on my mind, how's things?

BK? Are you moved in yet? Its exciting to get a new house.

Kay - you'll feel so much better when you get that fill - and its not been a waste.

Claudia - hola chickie!

Sweethot - I know how you feel about having cake in the house. When my dd was home I baked her a carrot cake, its her favorite and she wasn't home for her birthday so ... I ate a piece and there it sits on my counter waiting to be thrown away. Its so weird now at my house, food just isn't a priority anymore.

Speaking of how we view food. I saw a French lady on Oprah a while ago. She was talking about how they aren't fat in France bc they make eating an occasion everytime. They don't just shove food into there mouths but instead savor the whole experience. She has a book out but I don't remember it right now. Anyway - since my family has changed we are kinda like this - especially since my youngest loves the food network and cooking, we make dinner fun. Food for thought.

Nat - come on back. We've missed you.

Boo - how do you feel about down sizing the boobies? Is this something you have always wanted to do?

http://jr-computers.com/ghost/ Since its that time of year I thought you'd like a good ghost story - click on the link and read about it.

Have a good day!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
