Good news! My scale moved! woohoo!!! Finally down 2 lbs! I weighed in at 189 today. Must be the new fill finally kicking in. I hope all of your fills are going good. Mine didn't start out so great but now its finally feeling tight - a week later. Last night was horrible. I had a small chicken breast for lunch, then a kashi bar and some chicken salad around 3. I worked out in my flower beds for a couple hours and it was close to 7 when I finally went in for supper. I had a pork loin in the crock pot, quickie mashed taters, and okra - I was preparing stuff and took a bite of the pork, maybe I didn't chew well - I dunno - it was ok but then I took a bite of okra, one piece, I made my plate and started thinking ew I better wait a few minutes - I was sick for 2 hours! I slimed and pb'd , I was so sick. I just couldn't figure out what had made me sick tho, I think maybe the okra since it has that weird texture. Anyway it kept my calories below 700 LOL what a way to keep it low.

You all are kicking butt with the exercise! wow Bman running a mile! I'm the same as Nat I get about 3 minutes and die. I walked the hills this morning, 1.5 miles. It was nice, its finally nice enough, and dried up enough that I can get out instead of doing the dread mill. My goal for May is exercise 20x and lose 10 lbs.

Nat - glad you liked the email, I was roaring too - I will post it on yahoo for everyone else to read.

Ok - I've got a ton of work to get to - talk to ya'll later! Love ya!

Nat - I loved your post - I'm so glad you're back! WTG on the walk, and I'm so glad you're feeling better! I know you'll kick booty this month with that great attitude! Definitely post on the yahoo forum!

Brandi - WTG on the workouts!!!!!!!!! You're the queen! I can't really do pushups - I need to try, though.

BK - glad your tummy is feeling better and glad you're enjoying your time off!

Sassy - YAY on the restriction!

Steph - WTG on the 2 lbs! :) I love it when the scale moves (I'm probably a bit too obsessed with the scale, unfortunately). Please post the e-mail on yahoo for those of us who didn't get it! :D

I'm glad YOU ALL are happy for me because I'm not so sure I'm as happy! I woke up this morning and drank some juice and choked on it and pb'd it ALL up! I don't know guys. Help me out here! Sassy, you should not have restriction with fluids or your too tight. I have heard of people being this way in the morning, but being fine by mid-day and afternoon/evening. You have to be able to cosume at least 600 calories a day... and THAT is low.

Anything lower and your gonna start going for liquid calories and that will undermine you weightloss.

I'd watch it a few days. See if things loosen up, if not maybe you just need a .1CC off or something very small to make it work :-)

Sassy I was thinking that last night when I got so miserable was after I drank. I dont' have a problem if I sip stuff but I can't chug anything, slow drinks just like eating. But if that doesn't help I agree with Bman - you might need a slight unfill. Theres no way I could drink a glass of juice in the morning, I am way too tight, and after I exercise if I unthinkingly drink a half glass of Water I'm burping like I'm gonna spit it out. I don't have a cup of coffee until I get to work. You might just need to take it all slow, try mushies, a little cottage cheese and tuna, little bites, well chewed and absolutely no drinking with it.

Which btw - speaking of drinking with meals. Since I had this last fill there is no way I can drink with my food, totally gives me the slimes. Probably what happened last night. I always drink a glass of water while I prepare dinner, so I bet it was too full and then I added the couple of bites to it... misery.

I'm glad no one was offended with my waldo joke. Too freaking funny to keep to myself.

Sassy - it DOES sound like you're too tight. I had that problem back in March - I couldn't get liquids down easily (no PB's, but even little sips were gurgling down sloooowwwwlllyyy). I got just a tiny unfill and felt SO MUCH BETTER!

If it doesn't get better today, get a very slight unfil TOMORROW before the weekend. If you PB again on fluids, don't wait until tomorrow - you could get dehydrated and end up in the hospital! We don't want that!!

And Steph - that is the best thing EVER! :):D:D Glad no one was looking over my shoulder when I opened that one up at work! :):)

Sassy - I'm just gonna co-sign on what everyone else has said. If you guzzled that OJ, you may have been drinking too fast. Could you feel the cold juice passing into your "mother stomach" as Steph calls it?

I have to sip my fluids now, or they back up on me. I am not complaining at all. I've been eating like I have a hole in my throat for the past month. I'm happy to chew little bites and swallow little bites and be full after little bites.

I'm kind of bummed though, cuz I'm buying lunch for my team tomorrow. I'm getting everything from costco. A few pizzas, some little pinwheel sandwiches, chips, dips, salsa, hummus, beverages and dessert. I thought about getting one of those 7 layer chocolate cakes... I had a total "fat bitch fantasy" moment thinking about the peach salsa and the one bite brownies... Then I reminded myself "Nathalie, that's how you got so damn big in the first place!" If I want a brownie, I'll lick my thigh. LOL

So all day long I've had 2 of these Protein drinks. (1.5) I felt lighter as I walked to the car at lunch time. I was doing the "Imma get skinny" dance today. Cuz ummm, IMMA GET SKINNY!

I'm going back to whips tomorrow. I bought pre-op food from the doctor, so I also have the Protein Drinks, Protein Bars, Soups, etc.

My day is equally as stressful as it was yesterday. Over the weekend I'm going to pull out my Fuck-It Bucket and drop all those stressors. Permanently. I am too close to one situation specifically, and I need to back off. As long as this woman makes me mad, she wins. Problem is, I hate her like poison.

I love feeling so ... full of hope again. I was beginning to doubt the band. I should have had my ass back in the surgeon's office for another fill long before yesterday. I just forgot what it was supposed to feel like. Now I remember. And I like it!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
