I didn't mind wearing it at all- it helped SO MUCH to reduce the pain. I wore mine every day for the first two weeks, and then off and on for the next two weeks.

I wish I had one... In the hospital my friend got one and I didn't. I think that's why my scars look worse! I feel like the band would of kept things in place rather than having gravity and a large swollen stomach wreak havoc!

I woke up with one on post-op, and actually found it really helpful! In the beginning, it was a lot more comfortable with it on. It holds everything in place and helped with reducing pain. When I took it off, it found like everything was loose and "exposed". I probably wore mine for the first week or so, but I could have taken it off anytime.
