bicycle question

When I'm pedaling,I notice my feet start tilting to the side of my foot instead of the sole of my feet. Is my seat up too high or is something else wrong?

Sound like yes seat up too high- or wrong size of bike- do you cycle road or mountain?

Also are you using clip less pedals- or do you use a shoe with clips?

I am using an adult-sized tricycle. It is on the road, as smooth as I can get it.

I'm assuming since I have no idea what that means, they are clipless, both shoes and pedals.

Oh - I see :-)

I don't have any experience in adult trike riding. I wish I could help :-)

These are what pedals look like on a road bike- and then there is a clip on the cycling shoe that attaches itself to the pedal. These are clips. :-)

The last one is a clip-less you just slip your foot in- and it helps to hold your foot steady and secure in the cage (pedal) I started as a beginner with the last ones.

I would say that your distance from the pedal is not correct with your shoe- and that's the reason for the side pushing.

Thanks - I'll try lowering the seat... Hopefully that makes it less exhausting, too.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
