Add PB2 to the powdered shakes. You only taste the Peanut Butter. Try Isopure ready to drink. Tastes more like a kook aid product than a Protein Drink. Can get at Vitamin Shoppe.< /p>

I had surgery the same day and I love the GNC powder "Lean 25". I have chocolate Peanut Butter and a banana flavored powder and I mix one scoop of each with a cup of skim milk. I split it into 2 drinks and sip it slowly. It tastes like a Choc punt butter banana milkshake!! Put it in a cup in the freezer for 1/2 hour is even better! You will feel much with some Protein. It is needed for healing!

I mix half unsweetened coconut/almond milk and half Water with my Protein Shakes. It helps them go down much easier.

Congrats on your decision to get sleeved!! I also had a difficult time with the shakes and the other drinks. I found the juice types all tasted like Protein and the powders never fully dissolved and the premade where too thick and sweet (even as a child I didn't like milkshakes). After many different shakes I found EAS advantEdge Carb Control at Walmart, they are only 4.97 for a pack of 4 and they are not overly sweet or thick and they are premade. I found the strawberry to be the best at first but now I can drink all the flavors. They are not as high in protein as most but they are low in calories so I just drink and extra one if I need to later. I still use them at Breakfast even 7 out. They have 17g of protein, 3g carbs and 100-110 cals depending on the flavor. Good luck on your journey:))

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
