I lied. I took his flirting with me in TJ to mean more then it was. From these posts you can see how easy it could happen - woman are now saying he tried it with them because he "touched their arm" or "said they were beautiful" I don't want people to second guess the care they received. I know he flirts w everyone but I read it as more than it was and got it in my head that he liked me. I think We did have a connection and at a time where I was most vulnerable. I took this too far and it's spiralled out of control - i only wanted speculation and for him to know I was mad, not everyone! I didn't want his name out there. But costing his career is too much , he is as I HAVE stated before, a very good Dr and I don't want to take that reputation away from him because of my bipolar behaviour ... I'm not a troll but also have no evidence he has slept w any patients. But this punishment doesn't fit the crime. I took it the wrong was and felt rejected and stupid when he set me straight. I just want to retract my claim we slept together and apologise to the other Drs and company because none of them deserved this backlash, i didn't think it through before I posted and didn't think about who else would get hurt by it.. With this being said BS has placed herself and others in a very difficult spot. SHE (either willingly or thru coercion) has OPENLY stated that SHE lied. Basically admitting libel!! If in fact what she said was 100% truth, the way that she went about expressing the truth makes her actions questionable, especially when she turned around and recanted her story. People have taken what she has said and made the assumptions that the man could be capable of "rape and molestation of a pt while under anesthesia."

If indeed he is guilty of sleeping with patients, in the United States he may be deemed guilty of moral turpitude; however, if what the OP has accused him of is untrue, in the United States he would be entitled to punitive damages (which wouldn't be difficult to recover since she's admitted she "lied".

This is the way I was looking at it. From a legal point of view. And the possible business loss from these allegations. If I ever get tired of trying to lose my last 5lbs to get the ball rolling for surgery here in the states I wouldn't hesitate in considering Dr. Garcia. I've dealt with all kind of men and know how to handle them.

What a train wreck! I actually feel bad for everyone involved in this BS even if it's true or not.

I stand by the doctor in this and will continue to recommend this team. I don't need to be involved in the bullshit on this forum to know that I believe in these doctors - I will rely on my personal knowledge of this team of wonderful, caring professionals.

Dr. Garcia was most likely bombarded with calls and emails demanding he fire Dr. Luna or else. Self-righteousness will do it all the time. I believe since it was consensual the most he should've got was a reprimand. I guess some doctors in MX put business before standing by their employees. I also guessed the right woman. This is one of the rare scenarios I've seen where a woman wasn't ****-shamed for her behavior. While that is a good thing prosecuting the doctor is no better. If she wasn't a fat women who all on this forum can relate to I don't so many would sympathize.
