CorvetteGirl 78 Posted June 25, 2013 I think you will be fine. I just saw my PCP yesterday and she said it's a breeze. You might just feel a little sore throat from the tube afterwards. I have to do an endoscopy/colonoscopy on 7/11. The only thing I think will suck about that is the "colon flush" the night before and drinking 8 glasses of the crap you have to drink. Yuck! You'll do fine.......FYI the results from the colonoscopy put me at a higher risk for colon cancer.....now have to be tested every 5 years...My aunt died from colon cancer recently......I'll take the discomfort for 2 days if it'll save me from what she went through....I just don't have to like it LOL Good luck! I'm sorry about your Aunt! Finding out that you are at a higher risk now is good, because you can be one step ahead by getting regular screenings as recommended by your doctor.
