Im July 29...on day 3 of 21 day pre op diet

July 26th! Hammond, Indiana I am so ready and can't wait. I used to be scared but not anymore just eager. I woke this morning at about 3:30 and couldn't stop thinking about it. I went today and bought my hospital pj's and slippers, sugar free jello, lots of crystal light, and some isopure. The last few nights I have enjoyed some of my favorite meals but I can't wait to start my clear liquids on Friday because then I know that in two weeks my new life will begin.

July 18th is my date.....nervous and excited.

Had my surgery approximately 9am. I'm up, sitting on a chair for the second time today. Did a little walk. I feel pretty good considering.. A little stomach pain, but they say it's expecting. And I'm very tired! Thought I'd update you guys

I have my surgery July 24th. I'm excited and nervous.

I am scheduled for July 23rd. Started pre op diet yesterday. Was told protein shakes for 13 days, 1 day clear, but could replace one of the shakes with chicken/lean meat. But nothing with carbs.

I am up getting ready to go to the hospital. My diabetes is my major worry all day yesterday praying not to get low blood sugar and could not take my insulin so had to be concerned with high blood sugar. As it turned out I stayed normal to little higher but not dangerous levels. Diabetics heal slower so I packed for a few days in case. Wish me luck I am at 9:00 AM
