  1. Okay. I'm three months out. My hair is shedding like crazy and my blood work looked okay but low in iron. I lost 17 lbs the first month 10 lbs the second month and maybe around 5 lbs this last month. I'm squeezing into size 18s but 20s are huge on me. I haven't been working out or eating the way I should all the time and it's my fault I'm not losing like I should be I admit it but I'm working to change that. I am trying to stay around 1000 calories each day and actually food journaling. I walked for 25 minutes on my treadmill and found some other exercises I like to do. I am down about a total of 46 lbs since starting this journey and I'm not ready to throw in the towel so I'm asking for some inspiration. I feel like I let myself down to soon but I don't want to give up. Please let me know how everyone else is doing.
  2. S W: 258 lbs C W: 216 lbs 2 months post op G W: 135-140 lbs I've got a long way to go! Making slow and steady!
  3. Oh yes I talked to the doctor last month and it was because of all the antibiotics so they gave me the swish stuff and it worked!
  4. I'm sorry but why did you have two surgeries? Did you go from band to sleeve?
  5. How is everyone doing with their weight loss? I have lost a total of 23 lbs post op and my surgery was 7/26 but I have stalled for the last couple weeks and I can't wait to lose more. One thing I have noticed was that even though the scale stopped moving my clothes are getting huge! I was also wondering how everyone's incision scars are healing. Mine are still really bright, hard, and slightly tender.
  6. Today I am 3 weeks out and I have lost a total of 22 lbs post op! I didn't think it was that much so I'm super thrilled and want to see if I can get into even more clothes I grew out of!
  7. Honestly that doesn't sound like a lot of calories. You may have your body stuck in starvation mode. Have you spoke to your doctor yet?
  8. Yes! I have had the ones by Body Fortress, I get them at Walmart, and they are not the best tasting but will get the job done. I haven't had once since I've been sleeved but I do have to go to the store today so I will probably grab some.
  9. Hahaha, I thought mine looked liked a string bean with a golf ball attached at the bottom during the barium swallow test!
  10. Lol, where are you from? I was born and raised in Charleston, SC and I haven't had someone bless my heart in many years! Thank you I'm doing very well. God is good to me. You will find a way, just keep trying.
  11. Me to. I try to stop by 7 pm and that helps.
  12. I have NOT had problems drinking. Sorry.
  13. Goodness, I feel like I was eating all day yesterday but of course I am still on full liquids so I know I really wasn't. I'm just glad Aunt Flo didn't make me as hungry as I used to get pre op. I also gained about 1/2 lb but I know it is water weight. There are just some things that the sleeve doesn't help I guess so I will have to manage it on my own. Good luck ladies!
