Question for the ladies.....

Does your hunger increase when 'Aunt Flow' comes to town for her monthly visit? I feel SO hungry right now

Not sleeved yet...hope to get my surgery date tomorrow. But suddenly I'm feeling much better about the hysterectomy I had last November!

  • Yes, I've had her twice and I get so hungry I could bite a baby. I don't but I could. Also, I find that I retain water so much more now (drinking barely 60 oz) than I did pre-op (drinking over 100 oz)

I can't tell you how relieved I am to hear this! Not for your sake of course, but I thought for sure maybe I had done something to stretch my tummy out and now my new curse will be hunger for a lifetime! Thank you ladies for giving me hope that this will pass :)

YES!! That's actually the only time I ever felt hungry... And for the whole week! Ugh!

I was at my surgeons the other day and asked him about the stretching of the stomach and he told me it would take several years of overeating to actually do any stretching. I was very relieved to hear this because I was very paranoid about it. :)

Good grief! Count me in on this... I couldn't figure out why yesterday I was all of a sudden feeling like I couldn't hang on to the liquid diet. My husband came home with Safeway chinese last night because he got off work late and all I could do was stare at that stupid plastic tray and picture myself just licking a piece of General Tso chicken or something... and I don't even like it! It's greasy and disgusting! And of course I was getting pissed off (like it's his fault I was trying to have a major caloric meltdown). Couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. And then I looked at my bc pill pack and realized I'm totally in range. Thank goodness it will pass!!! Best of luck ladies!

So funny!

lol

I was just going to post something about this! Today has been awful! I have just been hungry all day and nothing seems to satisfy me! I even added some weight (which, doesn't really bother me...I know it is water weight from Auntie Flow's soon-to-be-visit) today, about 3 pounds, despite being on track with calories and quality foods. Ugh...if reincarnation is real, I want to come back as a man!

I am actually hungry right now :/...maybe I'll have myself a babybel light...DARN It!!!

Yep, eat like it's my job during that time, and specifically my craving for meat is ridiculous, I attack a rare steak like a velociraptor! In the 2 days right before, red meat and chocolate and my boyfriend!

...chocolate and my boyfriend!

Ya...other APPETITES seem to become stimulated as well ;)
