I had surgery on the 17th as well. :) I'm still in the hospital...although I'm trying to go home tomorrow. Nothing is wrong. I'm getting almost a liter in...my surgeon says 1.5liters and I can go. No more, no less.

Hi Guys, I was sleeved on the 17th as well. I got sent home yesterday. Now looking back I wish I could have stayed another day. I had a horrible night, just couldn't sleep at all. Just a little nauseous, but trying to get my Isopure down and walking around like a loon. I read the first three days are the worst, so hears to sunny dayd beginning Friday. Let's keep the faith and be strong.

Good luck to you! It does get better!! I promise! I had surgery June 11 and I am doing so much better. Occasionally I get a little nauseous, but it doesn't last too long. I'm down 34 pounds and am beginning to feel so good about myself. Just remember to get up and walk around. Try foods little at a time until you can tolerate them. My doc wants me up walking a mile a day already... That's really hard to do but I break it up throughout the day. About 3-4 times go out and walk but just do 5 min increments at first, then move up to 10 and so on. You are so right... Sunny days are so so close!!!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
