I had my revision on June 17th. Spent one night in the hospital and am now home.

The pain was worse than my band but the PCA pump helped a lot. Differentiating between gas and pain has been interesting. I haven't started with the gas-X but am seriously considering it.

I was told to get in at least 64oz a day. That has been really challenging. I'm not hungry or thirsty so it becomes hard to remember to sip all the time.

I will update as I progress but I will say BYE BYE Band I hated you and I am glad to no longer have you be a part of my life ????

Best of luck to you. Life without the band is wonderful. The sleeve will work for you and you won't regret any of this.

I was sleeved on the 11. I'm still not hungry or thirsty. My dr told me to set a timer for every 15 mins or so to remember to sip. I have yet to get in the 60 oz they suggested. Good luck too you keep us posted on your progress. :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
