I've lost weigh in my boobs and now wear a B Cup. But heXX, I don't really miss them. It's a lot easier on my back now. LOl and I have no curves except where my belly use to be and it looks like a muffin top or a volcano. Don't know if I will get PS for it later, but my clothes look really good on me......I am more concerned about the excess skin on my face right now......:( We will see later on..... :)

"only 2 sizes" is WONDERFUL and right on target. Every 20 pounds is one dress size...so you're progress is right where it should be :-)

My weight is perfectly proportioned all over my body. The plus side of this (see what I did there?) is that at 264 pounds, I could wear a comfortable size 20 at 5'3". The downside is that after 40 pounds lost, because I am losing it allllll over, I have "only" shrunk 2 sizes (and the 16Ws are snug, something I don't love the look of) and only one person who didn't know about this surgery has commented on my progress.

Weight loss gets rid of the fat but doesn't change your body type. I will ALWAYS be short waisted and big-butted/extremely hippy. I lose weight from the top of my head down to the top of my thighs. (Luckily I have very pretty calves) You can focus on the negatives but to what end? I am celebrating my face not being such a marshmallow, I am excited that shirts are fitting better and know that it will be a long time before the butt/hips give me any satisfaction at all. Try to find things about yourself that you like. For me it is my calves and my nose, which may be weird but everybody has to find their thing to get them through.

I am still pre-op, but read a lot of forums and many folks report that they lose in their bust, face and arms first. The ONLY thing I enjoy about being fat is that I have a bust, so that will probably be the first thing to go for me! LOL

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
