Weight loss stall

I was sleeves 3/26/2013 and have lost 50 lbs, but in the last two weeks I haven't lost a pound. I was wondering is this common, or has anyone else had this problem?

  • I been on a 2 week stall and over the weekend I just lost 6lbs out of no where. So just hang in there keep doing what you are doing and I will come off.

I'm too experiencing a stall! I'm worried because im only 10 days post op. I'm down 17lbs but haven't seen lost on 3 days! I think it triggered when I started full liquids. #waitingpatiently

Stalls are VERY common. You are losing more quickly than I did. It's taken me 6 months to lose 101 lbs, and I have had to learn to live with stalls. My longest stall was 3 weeks. I didn't gain or lose even 1 lb. I have had 3 stalls over the past 6 months. They are usually followed by a dramatic loss week on the scale. Once I lost a clothing size during a stall but no weight. Just keep doing your program...get in your protein, avoid simple carbs, drink your water, exercise & the scale will eventually catch up. Keep up the awesome work!

I was sleeved on 3/22/13....I've only loss 30lbs....the scale hasn't moved in two weeks...would like to stay positive but I'm so looking forward to more weight loss....I need to change up things some...food and exercise...just got a bike so hopefully that helps

I was sleeved on 4-23-2013 I've lost a total of 26lbs and have been on a stall for 3 weeks! Only losing inches rather than lbs. no need to worry. Stick to the program and pump the protein!

Feel ya hit my first stall, sleeved 3/12 down 45lbs and been there for a week. Hoping this changes. Best of luck to you

It will pass

I was also sleeved on 4/23/13. I have only lost 23 pounds. Still having trouble getting all my protein in 40-50gm. I did not lose any weight in about 10 days. Its very scary. I have been walking, but have not hit the gym yet.

Let me know how it goes!

We have almost an identical situation. I was sleeved on March 28th and have lost 50 pounds and also haven't lost any weight in almost two weeks.

This is the part where, in the past, I would have probably said "to hell with it" and fall back into my old habits, but with the sleeve I can't really eat enough to do any damage, even if I wanted to..lol

Its encouraging to hear that other people have had the same "stalls" around this time and that everything turns out good.

I have been sleeved for 6 weeks and have been on a stall for 4 of those weeks.

YES IT STINKS!

Ohh yeah and I have only lost 16 pounds. I was sleeved on 4/24.
