Hope is better than yesterday and I hope tomorrow will be better than today. I woke up so thirsty this afternoon I almost forgot I had the surgery thank God the pain kicked in so I couldn't really gulp. I am able to drink flavor Water with no problems but some pain as it settles in my new tummy. I have had head hunger all day and the stupid food commercial dont seem to help. God even cat food looks good lol...

Hello Diana how are you today. The pain is starting to settle a bit still have sharp pains when I stretch the main incision area so that sucks. I got acid reflux bad so I'm a bit uncomfortable but nothing that can't be handled. The incision marks are getting itchy so that really blows but I guess that is a sign of it healing. My biggest complaint is I'm so tired of sugar free Popsicles and Jello the broth just doesn't sit right takes to long to drink and gets really cold. Can't wait till Wednesday to see my surgeon for 2 week post op check and get cleared for full liquids, puréed and some soft foods. Hope things are working out fine for you and take care.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
