Hi all! I've been having problems posting.. But have read everything everyone has written. Thank you all for everything you've written because this forum has really answered so many of my questions and alleviated my fears more than anything. I am grateful for each of you!

My surgery is tomorrow afternoon so I will stay in overnight. I am just ready to have it over so I can stop worrying about the "what its". Has anyone had the thoughts of what the heck am I doing? I'm sure everyone at one time or another. But some days it just paralyzes me...like this morning. Argh!

Yes! I did ask my husband, "what am I doing, was this the right thing to do?". I do not feel like that anymore. In day 5 and just watched Monsters Inc 2 with my family. It will all be ok!

I was sleeved the 21st. So far so good. The gas pains were rough but since I had been reading about them on here knew it was temporary and didn't let it get to me. Finally started pooting last night. I wanted to cheer! Got home yesterday still have drain (yuck!!!!) can't wait to get it out. For those that are waiting I can't tell you how much better it has been than I ever thought it could be. Keep a positive attitude, that will help a lot.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
