I would like to know also. I'm going to apply for a passport card next week but don't know if it will get here in time.

OK so I'm going tomorrow to apply. They said it could take up to 12 weeks so I will have to pay for it to be expedited. You only need the passport card and not the book if you are going into Mexico on land.

When I went to get mine they said 5-7 weeks, but it came in 2! I didn't even have to expedite it.

I went with just 12 weeks to spare to apply for mine, like to the day, and was worried. The passport agent told me that they were just running at about 3 weeks at the time and indeed, mine came in about three weeks.

I'll be crossing with my federal gold star drivers license and birth certificate tomorrow. I'll let you all know if they let me back in ;)

I got mine in February. They said 3-4 weeks but at 3 1/2 they called and said they were behind and asked if I wanted to expedite or change my trip...I paid the expedite fee over the phone.

Look to see if there is a passport processing center near you. I would have never thought in a million years there would be one in a little town outside the capital city where I live and in Arkansas of all places.

I applied for my passport through our local Post Office and it came back in less than two weeks. I didn't expedite the process. I was very impressed!

I just applied today through the clerk of courts. I choose to expedite it for $60.00 more.

They said it should take two to three weeks.

I'm not suggesting it because my passport was both expired and lost, but I got across the border with my enhanced DL and birth certificate. They asked me rather sternly why I didn't have my passport, where I was born etc.

If you are in a pinch don't worry unless maybe you are of Hispanic descent or have an accent.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
