Pickle juice

I know it sounds weird to most folks, but I have seen posts of others drinking it. I have tried to search but I can't get anything to come up. Curious to how far out you were when you had some and about how much was it? :)

haha, it was a thing in that movie "The Other Sister" from years ago...really good movie.

That was a good movie. Some of y'all surprise me. Pickle juice is a standard at any snow cone stand down here...even bahama bucks has it. I love pickles. I will put some juice in tuna...deviled eggs... or just drink it. My aunt always gave us a little to sip on when we had an upset stomache and it worked...still do it now...well I did pre surgery lol

Lol!! Snow cones!! You crazy Texans!

In California we eat normal things like tofu smoothies! :P

You guys are fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now that I know that pickle juice can be used for different remedies, I will save my pickle juice instead of discarding it. Does it matter if it's sweet or sour, because I like the sweet pickles by Famous Dave's they are the best.

Hi Houston17,

I'm a pickle juice drinker but I've found something even better than pickle juice. I order Bob's Pickle Pops; they crush whole dill pickles and then freeze the juice. I haven't asked my dietician about pickle juice yet, but I will ask her at my next appointment. Here is a link to Bob's http://www.bobspicklepops.com/

I love pickle juice. It cures the heartburn every time for me. And it gets rid of nausea.

Yoli, thanks so much. Will definitely have to get these. Yum.

I craved dill pickles during my post -op liquid phase. I finally decided that I was sodium deficient. Sure enough, once I was able to eat food, the craving faded. I cannot eat bread but I was craving a corned beef sandwich so I got some corned beef and drizzled some dill pickle juice on it. It satisfied my sandwich craving.

I had to click on just because of the title Picke Juice!

I've drunk pickle juice since I was a kid from the jar standing in front of the frig.

Thought it was kind of normal

I love pickle juice. I have been drinking it since I was a little girl. Here lately I have started drinking it more. I am a year and a half out since surgery. I drink it straight out of the jar.
