Everyone's different. I added nuts around month 6. I eat 1-2 servings of almonds or cashews daily. My tummy still rumbles pretty loudly every time I eat nuts and I'm a year out. I guess it's just more work to digest the nuts. Good luck.

My Dr told me after 6 weeks

I didn't eat nuts till more than 6 months out.

I didn't have nuts until month 6 also. I have no troubles digesting them.

I have almonds almost daily. No problems. Started at about week 5.

My diet says week 5 or 6 for nuts and week 7 for seeds... Of course this is the earliest they want me to TRY these foods.. if they are well tolerated, then I can add them.. if not, they said to hold off and try again later.. same goes for breads.. I can try in week 5 but the instructions say if they're not well tolerated to wait a few more weeks and try again.

My NUT said to wait for 3 months post op. I now eat nuts daily with no issues. I'm currently almost 7 months post op.
