Hello,

I have been researching for almost a month, I have contacted a few people on the forum to find out about their experiences, I have contacted a few of the coordinators and I have spent at least 5 hours a day on the forum. I so want to get this surgery (vsg), I am just trying to figure out my timing, with school and work and my mom coming to visit me. I do not plan on telling my mom, I do not want her to be scared as she is old fashioned. My boyfriend and my sister is 110 percent supportive, but one of my friends is not supportive at all, i guess when you are not over weight you do not understand. when I told him he said I did not know you felt that bad about yourself! So unfortunately I do not plan on telling anyone else.

Josie
