Pureed food...what did you eat?

I'm so bored with what I've been eating. Any sugestions? I've had egg, bean soup, cream of wheat, Campbell's tomato basil and bacon soup. I'm out of ideas. Help! And I don't like cottage cheese.

No I haven't. I'm afraid of getting too many carbs. I'm 2 and a half weeks post op and I've not lost anything in a week :-/ maybe I could do some vegetable soup.

I liked tuna and chicken salad.

Yummy, thanks! That sounds good.

Turkey chili and beans are good.. I also liked meatloaf and gravy and watered down instant mashed potatoes together..

Ricotta cheese with sugar free torani syrups

My Dr had me to start incorporating soft food. I haven't been counting carbs just protein. 60-100 grams a day. I'm 54 pounds lost since the start of my liver shrink diet.

Refried beans with cheese melted on top was my fav!

Turkey chili with Beans. My go to meal during puréed food. Loaded with Protein and Fiber and Vitamins (especially if you use V-8 juice as a base).

Progresso soup has really good ones less than 80 Calories

Stupid question, but do you puree the foods like the soups, meatloaf, potatoes? Pardon the simpleton! lol

That's not a silly question!

Yes it sounds weird but you do purée them.

When I was pre op I was like "no way am I going to puréed meat" .... Well I did! And it was good :)

Carbs from healthy sources like veggies are a-ok. I couldn't stand most pureed foods so I ate instant mashed potatoes, yogurt, apple sauce etc. during that stage and I am down two clothing sizes five weeks out. I made my instant potatoes without butter and added powdered milk to the liquid milk to up the Protein. When I make mashed potatoes from scratch, I make them with cottage cheese, the hot potatoes melt the cheese into gooey cheesiness and I get more protein that way too. We eat so little at this stage that 2-4 oz of potatoes or another carb won't derail you as long as you get your Water and protein in first. Stalls are normal, don't worry, you're doing great.
