What's for dinner tonight?

As I am just entering the pureed stage I tonight it might be fun and interesting to see what some other sleevers ate for dinner on any given night. So tell us where you're at in the process and what's for dinner!

I'll go first!

One week post op. Now in the pureed stage. Pureed mashed potatoes with ricotta seasoned with garlic, pepper, and seasoning salt.

How did you make that? Did you make regular mashed potatoes (with milk, butter) & then added ricotta or you added ricotta instead of milk/butter? As Ricky Ricardo would have said 'splain Lucy! :D Thank you! How did it go eating it?

2 pieces of salmon sushi, 4 grapes, 2T smoked salmon with fresh dill, 1 cracker, 5-7 pistachios

Now having a 25 cal cup of diet hot chocolate and a cookie.

I bought powdered Idahoan potatoes. Cooked it in the micro with water. Then I blended 2 tbsp potatoes, 1 tbsp ricotta, and 4 tbsp skim milk.

3 months out- yesterday was my sleeviversary. I had about 3 ounces of chicken teriyaki- chicken breast chunks cooked in the wok with a little bit of oil and Kikkoman bottled teriyaki sauce. My family also had noodles and egg rolls. I abstained from those. :))))

Thank you! I've never tried powdered potatoes but sounds quick & easy! I love ricotta cheese!

It was pretty good. Wasn't salmon or teriyaki chicken but for a pureed meal it was super tasty!

in my 4th week and another day, I'm "officially" to solid foods. I had ground turkey with taco seasoning and refried beans cooked together, then I added a little sharp cheddar cheese and some fat free plain greek yogurt. I was able to eat a half cup...well a little more with the big spoonful of yogurt. Delicious recipe I found here. I'm not a fan of ground turkey, but I sure couldn't taste the meat as turkey. :P

Refried beans with cheese topped with tomatoes . Tasted like a dip! Was soooo good!

Refried beans with cheese and sour cream, and half a smashed pair. It was magnificiant! I'm loving the mushy stage...food again!

I can't wait to be able to eat again, actually put something in my mouth and chew it. Lol I am 6 days post op. for me it seems like my stomach is able to handle more than I thought it would at a time... I'm still on liquids tho, I'm sure that feeling will change.

It will Holly, especially as you get more protein and thicker, more filling foods.

thin sliced turkey breast in a muffin tin to make a cup. crack egg into cup. add bell pepper and onion. top with cheddar. 17g protein 3 carb. very filling.

Tonight for dinner I am making cheesesteak stuffed peppers... My Husband has been trying to eat healthier and he has been craving philly cheesesteaks for a couple weeks now, I found this reciepie on pinterest so we are trying it tonight... This will actually be my first attempt at eatting red meat... I havent eaten red meat since before surgery. I am not a big fan of red meat. I figure the Cheesesteak Stuffed Peppers will satisfy his cravings for a cheesesteak and it will be alot healthier then take out!
