Am I consuming too much, too little, or just right????

Thanks for reading everyone I just need some help and advice...Okay so as alot of you know I had my surgery on monday 11/20 and since then I havent been able to get much down which I understand is normal...Yesterday I defiantely got more down and today even more...I just want to ask someone if what I got down today is normal or too much becasue I feel it is a lot...okay here it is:

7:30am 8 ounces of carnation instant Breakfast (skim milk)

9:30am 4 ounces of Water

11:30am7 ounces of yogurt smoothie

12:30pm 4 ounces of water

1:30pm 8 ounces of chicken broth

3:10pm 4 ounces of water

4:45pm 8 ounces of carnation instant breakfast

6:15pm 3 ounces of water

7:10pm 4 ounces of Jello pudding

and I plan on just having water until I go to bed....Please tell me if this is normal or what....I am getting used to this so I need all the help I can get...Also, I can drink things pretty quickly is that normal? It is hard for me to slow down...Thanks for your help

hey angela thanks for your reply...I did put a scoop of unflavored Unjury Protein Shake mixed in with my carnation instant breakfast which got them up to 32 grams of Protein in each so I kicked ass there, hahaha...Thanks nice to know I am on track I just felt like I had so much to drink today....thanks

      Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

        As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

        Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

        Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

      Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
