A question about the Buddy list

Recommended Posts

;) Hi,

Computer noodle-head here. I have met several wonderful ppl on this site and have been trying to figure out how to use the "buddy" list.

When I go to the User control panel and click on the buddy/ignore icon.

A window pops up with six spaces and a message at the time which reads:

"To remove a user from either the Buddy or Ignore Lists, un-tick the box next to their name and click the 'Save List' button.

To add a user to either list, enter their name in the empty boxes for that list and click 'Save List'."

There are 2 spaces for buddy list.....2 spaces for ignore list. And 2 spaces for journal buddy list.

The problem is.........the only one on my screen that has a "click" button, is the save journal buddy icon.

There is no save option for my buddy list. I have tried to add names and press enter, this just deletes my entry.

What am I doing wrong? Help....I need buddies.........:help:

thanks

Missy

Missyc,

Just to see what you were talking about I tried to add you to my buddy list. I also don't think it is working; or at least not correctly, or it's not described properly.

Let me know if you get any kind of an alert advising you that I was trying to add you to my buddy list (never used it before so have no idea how it's "supposed" to work.

I would suggest that if you do get an alert letting you know I was tying to add you, for now say yes, and let me know. If it works I can always drop you or you should be able to "reject me" at a later date, but would be cool just to try to play around with to see if we can get it to work, and what steps we had to go through to do so.

Then we could do a prper write up and post it to help others in the future.

Just a thought, hugs and happy trails :-)

I don't think its working either. I recd no messages or alerts.

Appreciate you checking on this.

Anyone else able to navigate the buddy list?

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
