In the beginning we still have a lot of the grehlin hormone that causes hunger in our system. It is hard but it gets easier. The first month takes a lot of will power and then around month two you will be dealing with head hunger. It does get easier I promise!

Thanks Y'all, I Just Want To Do Good Soooo Bad That I May Be Over thinking It. My Mom Said To Try Cram Of Broccoli, Because It's More Like A Meal. What Do Y'all Think?

Cream of broccoli is good! I had almost every creamed Soup out there just to give me some variation!

You can also boil some black Beans in chicken broth and then purée them in the blender really good then strain the juice which will be thick and have that as a soup with a lil sour cream on it and a splash of hot sauce! Or you can do it without the sour cream and sauce. The black beans and chicken broth have lots of Protein.< /p>

It really feels good on the tummy

I wanted to feel like I had. A "meal" too. I put chicken tortilla Soup from costco in a blender and it was so good! It had all the flavor. Good luck to you.

I could start having the full liquids like the strained black bean Soup and creamed Soups on day 7

You're almost there! ;)

If you can already do full liquids then you can start now :)

All surgeons are different

I'm only 3 weeks, going into week 4! I'm able to eat chili and a little Mac n cheese, but I'm not pushing it. Once I can eat real foods, that's all gonna change, tho.

You want to be careful because your sleeve is at its most fragile right now, but I'm not going to beat you over the head with that but you surely realize doing this increased your risks for complications.

Can I ask you an unrelated question though? How come you type with capitalization on the first letter of every word? Totally random, I was just curious.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
