I am out post op 6 weeks everything is normal BUT I am getting dizzy spells every day I feel like someone sucked all energy from me It happens couple of times a day I even fell a couple of times but luckily I was not hurt. I went to my surgeon they diagnosed that my sleeve was too tight in the middle they fixed it with balloon but I am still feeling the same way I have been taking all my medicines on time got my blood work done which came normal my surgeon is very confused they checked me for dehydration but tests came normal a couple of times I had to pull over so that I can close my eyes and sleep.Once I feel weak I close my eyes and go to sleep for any where from 45 mins to 2 hrs while I have my spell I can't even move no strength at all and then wake up normal. Please help.

I was like that and still am some days. My surgery was 11/14/12. Your body is healing so make sure your getting enough rest at night and my nutritionist said one nap a day ( if you can ) You had major surgery it will take awhile to get your energy back. Be patient you will adapt, the more food you introduce.

Are you eating enough??

Yes I have been eating enough I am eating 1000 - 1200 calories a day also taking in 130 - 150 proteins a day trying to drink 50 ml plus in water taking medicines on time.

Wow..your doing better then me! & u had no dizzy spells before surgery?

What is your Blood pressure? You mentioned medications. What are they. I'm thinking that direction.

BP is 110 over 80 I am not taking any medications besides anti acid , Multivitamins , Iron , Vitamin b and Calcium

My daughter experienced similar symptoms when she tried the Atkins diet....she couldn't handle all the protein & low carbs. When she added some carbs she was fine. I don't know if that's what's happening with you, but thought I'd throw it out there anyway.

These are pretty benign meds, B/P good. Look at the sie effects of your antacid. But, I'm kinda stumped. Stay safe.

I would try either the carb thing try adding some good carbs, ie a slice if whole wheat bread. Unfortunately the very limited carbs does not work to well for anyone. Or could you possibly be dehydrated? Try upping your fluids, maybe that will help. Good luck to you and please keep us updated.
