doc told me 3 weeks, but i'm a man - might be different for a woman..

Made my hubby do all the work and it was about 9-10 days out;). Plus he had to stay up on his knees (where I like him anyway ;) ha ha ha

Of course you should follow your docs advice.....

Dr always says when you are ready. Might have to change positions and timing till you are totally healed but it can be done. Have fun and enjoy.

Thanks I should of asked

I asked this question in support group when we were able to present questions written down. The coordinator answered the quesiton to the class. She stated if a woman then to be in a position with no weight on the abdomen. If a man then whenever it was comfortable. She said there is no specific time for anyone just when you are comfortable and may have to be creative in positions.

1 week and doggie worked well for me !!!! ;)

I hear right after the leak test is ok.

I waited exactly a week, the day I got the drain out was the day we tried, and all was well. I probably could have done it sooner but I was uncomfortable with the drain - i caused me issues.
