2nd fill

Recommended Posts

Hey Mandi Which forum was she on?

Sorry I 'm a few days behind, we were going to winnipeg, so my husband decided we'd go for a couple of extra days so he could go to the Grey Cup. No, I stayed in a mall while he was at the game then off to a warm hotel room for this chick and I watched desperate housewives.

My husband was at the game and didn't even know the final score!!!!HMMM

Slimmed in a restaurant could have been embarrasing but the room was empty cause eveyone was watching the game in the bar. Fuuuun Stuff.

It was the message board on Dr. Cobourn's site.

(I'm not interested in football either!)

Holy CRAP Lila! I would have been a wreck! I wouldn't go back there EVER AGAIN!!!!

I would never go back there. All that sweat doesn't sound sanitary. And if the dude had punctured your band.........;)

The Doc in Ottawa is :

Dr. Jose Gutauskas

7700 Broadview Avenue, #107

Ottawa

613 725 9180

He charges $75.00 a fill. I believe it's a 4 hour drive. Montreal would be about a 6 hour drive so Ottawa would be closer. He was taught by Dr Coburn from Mississauga, he is a General Surgeon and is quite skilled. I'm sure if your Doc from Alberta sent him your info he would do the fill.

Good Luck

Wheezy has!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
