I was up and walking about 3hours after my surgery, and where I got my sleeve done I was at the hospital less then 24hrs. I had my surgery at 12:30 in the afternoon on 1/28 I was home by 10am on the 29. But I know a lot of places do require a 2-3 day stay.

I got up about 4 hours after to tinkle. I only stayed overnight.

I stayed two nights and much like the others, was able to walk several hours after surgery. I only walked a few minutes at a time, about every 1 1/2 - 2 hours. It did help with gas and pain some. My band insertion surgery seemed more painful... as I recall the port killed me for at least a week.

I stayed overnight - till noon the next day. I was up walking about 5 or 6 hours after surgery.

I was up walking 3-4 hrs after, I stayed 2 nights as self pay. If you pay for 3 -- stay !!!
