Who feels great?!

I just wanted to celebrate how good I feel. I am 16 days out and no issues. No nausea. A little tired now and then but over all I feel so lucky.

I keep reading about everyone's "issues". So maybe we need to show newbies how many people feel great after surgery! I do!

(I hope I don't jinx myself :)

Thanks for this thread. I'm scheduled for April surgery but lately Ive been doing so much research in complications and problems that I'm scaring myself out of it. It is reassuring to be reminded that so many people DONT have problems and it reassures me that I'm making the right decision. Thanks and best of luck with your continued success!

I'm 9 days post open,15.2 lbs down. Other than getting tired easily, I feel great!

I'm 2 weeks post op down 30 pounds feeling great haven't been sick little pain. Today I even worked out at the gym! I'm pretty much back to normal. Minus the food obviously.

Thanks for this post. I haven't had any issues and I'm 4 months out. It's all GOOD!!! 68lbs gone!

Little over a month PO and doing GREAT!! No pain or nausea. Lost 25#'s. I am so happy I made this decision. I am most excited that from day one I have had normal blood sugars, normal blood pressure and normal cholesterol. That is the best part. I traded all my life threading Meds for vitamins!

Almost 2 months out and almost 30lbs down. From the moment I woke up from surgery I have felt amazing and absolutely no complication and only a little sore, but since then I've been floating on cloud nine. I'm a very slow loser and have been in a stall for several weeks ( lost a few recently) but I don't care. I FEEL GREAT!

I feel great! I'm 5 1/2 months out, have reached goal!

I too had a simple recovery. I feel very fortunate for that and for having the sleeve. No more diabetes meds. The eating is beginning to feel like my new normal. My surgery was December 3rd.

Almost 5 weeks out, doing fine. Listening to my body and following doctors orders!

I was sleeved on Jan 16th and have lost only 17 lbs, I'm a little frustrated but feeling good! I'm a little over 3 weeks out so need to start exercising! I have made a plan for this week, so hopefully this will help me through this stall! Wish me luck!

I will be 3 months out on 2/20. Feel great, but have had pneumonia for the last 3 weeks. Other than that, I'm doing really well. Have lost 42 lbs hoping for 50 by the 3 month mark, but probably am going to come up a bit short since I was on steroids for a few days. Go to the gym 5 days working on my Couch 2 5k project so all is good right now. Never had a day of nausea, never have thrown up. Sticking to plan that my nutritionist and I drew up together. Just wish I had done it a long time ago.
