What is your post-op full liquid meal for the day like?

Recommended Posts

My approach is a little different. I take a bottle of grape frost Isopure and sip that throughout the day. I then take some yogurt measure it out to about a half of a cup and add my nectar powder to it and will "eat" that a couple times of day. It is too difficult to measure out my yogurt and nectar powder etc. because it is such a small amount that I eat at a sitting. It is better for me to just know I had this amount during the whole day. I was eating watered down cream Soups, but there was no Protein in there so I stopped that. I have no problem drinking Water throughout the day. Last night I made beef stew and drank the broth...oooooh heavenly! But yeah instead of measuring out each meal it is easier for me to just measure for the whole day and then aim to eat/drink whatever it is. And I add it into my fitness pal so I can see what the protein is etc.

If you want something different, Anderson Split Pea Soup has 9-10 grams of Protein per cup.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
