I only eat 600-800 calories a day. 800 calories is actually a good day. I thought this was pretty normal for a sleeved person.

Yes, it is a normal calorie amount for a sleeve person. If you are really active, I can understand the need for more calories.

Went to my endocrinologist today about my bp being so low he gave me good news and bad good news my calorie intake has nothing to do with my bp and calorie intake! Bad news he said its possible that my blood vessels in my legs leading up to my heart may not be circulating right so I have to see a cardiologist I have an emergency appointment Wednesday will keep everyone posted and I thank everyone for your response

I was really sick a few years ago. I just got to where I didn't hardly eat. I would go a day or 2 with nothing but diet dr pepper. I want to follow up and my doctor took blood work. the nurse called me in a couple of days, although I weigh 230 pounds she said my blood work showed like an anorexic! There's something and I don't know what in your blood that shows if you're malnourished! She had me at an eighth of a teaspoon of salt to each bottle of Water and had me get some ensure until I could eat healthier

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
