Yea like im going to a store called deal$ to buy a few small container and also to rite aid. I just dont wanna buy thing without the insurance's approval

well, I did get in 64oz of water yesterday and it really was a job for me to do this. I even had a diet coke and then remembered no soda. I am a person that has at least 2 to 3 diet sodas a day and it is really going to be hard to give up ( I just like the bubbles I guess). When I think about it maybe it is a good idea to give up soda, old habits are hard to break but if diet soda is off the list of drinks after surgery then it will be gone. Just don't want any tummy problems.

I dont know if any of you are flying any long distances, but I ordered some protien drinks in small plastic bottles where you just add water and shake. I thought it would be handy for the plane. Then just throw away when finished.

So my name is Jana and I guess I will be kicking off the month for us. Was scheduled for Feb 28 but set for March 1 now. Started my 20 day preop diet yesterday--protien drinks, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, broth, SF jello and popsicles. Not a plain yogurt person, but I got one down today. Yesterday was tough, but today was a little better minus the headache. Counting those bad boys down...18 more to go!

I'm flying in at noon and have surgery that afternoon. Thinking I should have rethought the whole travel and surgery in one day lol.

That is what I'm telling myself..there are a lot out there that get absolutely nothing but liquids so I am feeling grateful. I will take what I can get lol. Here's wishing you the best!

Well March sleevers, time is marching on it is already February 11th and I am now 4 weeks away from my surgery March 11. I went to my family doctor this morning and had my blood work completed and on Thursday will be going for my chest x-ray. I will start my pre-op liver detox on Feb 15th so things are moving along. I need to go grocery shopping sometime this week to get all the legal foods in for my detox. I hope everyone else is doing fine today, have a great week.
