Sleeved on the 7th...down 10lbs! Also going back to work on the 21st

I was sleeved Jan. 9th I was 289 two months before surgery, I was 270 day of surgery and today the 15th of January I am 262. I eat all my protein and drink all my fluids.

I was sleeved on 1/8 and I am down 14 pounds, however I did not have a pre-op diet and I am dying to eat something!!

same situation!! i had no pre op diet either. sleeved on 1/9. down about 14lbs! being home and recovering i now realize that almost every commercial on tv involves food or car insurance. i'm having trouble with head hunger! i distract myself and it passes but it has been rough!

I was sleeved on 1/9. Started at 206 and this morning I weighed 194...so 12 pounds down!

I was sleeved 1/9 and have lost 10 lbs post op plus the 20 lbs pre op. No nausea or problems and have first checkup next Monday. Be interesting to see what their scales show. Off to a good start just have to keep it going. It is very strange not to be hungry.

I was sleeve on January 8,I am no sure how much i had loss. Tomorrow is my appoints. Now I don't know how to know I am full. What is the feeling of full? No problem what so ever.

When I was on fluids it was harder to tell when I was full. Once you get to puréed foods its much easier. You will feel real uncomfortable. Trust me you probably won't be able to get no more than 5 -8 bites down depending on what you are eating.

I'm a cake decorator and like alot of us a foodie. I'm already back to doing cakes and sweets. This morning I woke up and decided to make eclairs. Also have a baby shower cake due on Friday. Then there's real food. My huge family is getting dinners at least from me. On Saturday is my hubby's bday so we are throwing him a BBQ/ bday party. I'll be cooking that day and for Sunday game day food. I figure there will always be temptations around so I may as well figure out how to deal with them. Hasn't been as bad as I would have thought. Maybe because I'm only a week out, but I hope it will become a habit. Once I can eat normal food again is when the real challenge will begin.

I'm going on the 28th! I can't wait to add to this post down the line! Good luck all, stay strong!

Wow way to go girl that a lot. I had just loss 6 pound since January 8. And already back to work since Monday. But it seem I am loosing slowly. Are u still on cower liquid?

I was sleeved 1/07 and I'm down 22 lbs (including pre-op loss). I'm slowing advancing from clear to full liquids. My doctor is extra cautious. I see I'm next Tuesday to get the staples out and I'm hoping he will let me add some soft foods such as cream of wheat. Has any had their staples out yet? If so, how painful was it? I have almost 20

Yikes! That's a lot of staples. I only had steri strips under the bandages thankfully. I don't think they will be too painful to remove though. It may sting if I remember right. Hope it goes ok for you.
