  4. I also got sleeved at Toby. My surgeon was Dr. Streeter. I was sleeved on 1/6 and down 97 lbs so far. How are you ladies doing? Who was your surgeon?
  5. You look amazing! I'm very interested in this surgery but worried about the pain since I live alone. About how long would you say it was until you could get around on your own? How is the pain now? Also how long did you plan to take off of work? Thanks so much for the info & pictures. Definitely an inspiration for me!
  6. I'd say I honestly lost about 2/3 of my hair since surgery. I hate to say it but I think it is inevitable. I thought "oh, I'm only 22 and I only have 100 pounds to lose, if I take my vitamins that won't happen to ME". WRONG. Apparently age/weight don't have that much to do with hair loss at all. Starting at about 3 months post op I started losing clumps at a time every time I'd shower or brush my hair. Finally now at about 9 months post op it has slowed down and hair is starting to grow back, but I had to get hair extensions to feel like a woman again. Losing weight was the best thing I could have done for myself, but loosing my boobs AND my hair all at once was hard for me. I took my vitamins, including biotin, and got plenty protein daily. I hope others have better luck with this topic than I!!
  7. You are beautiful! Congratulations!
  8. I waited almost 3 months but now I tan a few times a week and my scars haven't gotten any darker at all, they kind of just blend in now that I have some color; which is great!!

  11. I was sleeved on 1/8 and I too was loosing at a pretty good pace up until the past few weeks. I started at 262 and I'm stuck between 206-210. It's been about 3 weeks at this weight and I just can't seem to break it. I've added a new cardio routine to my workout plan and still nothing. If anyone finds any fixes for a dreaded stall please keep me updated!
  12. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one in this boat. I was sleeved the day after you (1/8) and the past few weeks have just been impossible to get weight off. I started at 262 and I'm stuck between 206-210 and I just can't break it. I even started 50 minutes of cardio daily and NOTHING! Please let me know if you girls find anything to break this stall and congrats on the weight loss thus far!
  13. The best part of this picture is your confidence! You look AMAZING!
  14. Your so tiny!! What an inspiration! Keep up the great work, you look fabulous!!!
  15. I wouldn't be too worried. For the first two weeks my weight was everywhere too. One day I was up three pounds and the next down five. Just keep getting all your fluids in and following your doctors orders and the weight will come off! Promise :-) And congrats on your new sleeve!
  16. Congrats to everyone newly sleeved! It's the beginning to a new very much improved life! I wish you guys a super fast recovery :-)
  17. Wow!!!! You look amazing!! Such an inspiration. I am 22 with just about the same starting stats as you.. Except I'm one month post op only down 20 lbs. Any tips? You look soooo good!!
  18. Congratulations! That is exciting!
