Bladder changes

I've noticed since my surgery that my bladder habits are different. The only way I can explain it is it's like my bladder shrank after I lost all this weight. It's not that I pee more often but my bladder seems to hold less. Has anyone experienced this or am I alone lol. Btw I have no infections or anything so I've ruled all that out.

Lol I don't get up at night to go anymore either. And I don't poo as much either, and no more random stomach aches. It's wonderful haha

I hope this is true for everyone, because right now, pre surgery, I get up at least twice a night to pee. It would be nice to have an uninterrupted night without getting up!

I'm telling you it is so nice not to have to. It's actually kind of strange.

I love it' date=' doesn't matter how long I sleep, I never get interupted by the intense urge to pee.[/quote']

Me too!! Anyone know why this is? I drink so much more now as well!!

Me three! I thought it was just me! I don't have to get up in the night anymore (yay!) and when I go during the day it seems to be a lot less. That's weird because I drink way more water now than I ever did pre sleeve.

Add me to the no pee list too! It is fantastic :)

maybe there is more room for the bladder to expand due to removing the stomach area and there isn't all that fat to push against it?

Me too! I watch the color of my urine and it is fine so I know I am not dehydrated. it is nice to sleep all thru the night!

all I know is my incontinence issues seem to be gone... no more mad dashes to the bathroom...

That's exactly what I feel, I feel as if it's a lot less when I go but I drink a lot.

I don't get up at night and I don't go very often during the day. Where is all that Water going?

I'm wondering the same thing because I don't pee much lol

Insane, I am so glad I saw this, I thought I was losing it, or I wasn't drinking enough or something. I used to get up constantly to go to the bathroom, now I actually sleep through the night and do not have to go rush to the bathroom, or cross my legs when I sneeze or cough! It's awesome!
