Just hoping

I looked up my benefit coverage and I'm covered for the surgery. But it explains that with a bmi 35 to 40 bmi with 2 or more health issues also with a phyc valuation. Also required to participate in a 6 month doctor supervised diet. My question is this my bmi is 50+ with no major health issues yet would I be able to skip the 6 month diet or have to do the diet?? (5'9"- 356lbs.)

That is totally dependent upon the insurance plan itself, and is not something anyone here could tell you.
