Reward for achieving your goal?

While I'm still pre-op, pending insurance approval, I started pondering making a reward-based goal. Like something I might buy myself when I hit 199# or something similar.

What is or was yours?

When you earned it, what was it like?

Shopping spree to Victoria's Secret!

Mine is be back in wranglers and boots

I "talked" to my Mom. She passed away a week after my surgery - she didn't even know. I had held alot back, and I gave myself permission to let it go.

Getting sleeved on the 9th. My reward is gonna be a new wardrobe and I think a trip to Vegas as i have never been.

A Small goal is to do a make over - New hair do for the new me when I hit 200lbs (This will be 82lbs down since surgery and 103 down since highest weight) Currently 252lbs

When it hit goal and maintain to have plastics done if needed for extra skin and tightening and lifing of course if needed

Last but not least when I have a nice flat tummy I want to finally get a side/rib tattoo along with buying a Bikni and to rock it at the beach - I am a jersey girl - gotta love the beach!

I have mine in my signature. The first two rewards I decided on so that I might feel "pretty."

The next two are health/wellness based. I just have an empty spot on reward #3 after 75lbs lost. I have thought about maybe getting some new running shoes or hiring a personal trainer. I just haven't thought thorough it long enough. I am within just a few pounds of my #2 reward after 51 lbs lost.

I have been rewarding myself constantly since I started losing. Every time I can buy a size smaller or get into cute boots or go to an amusement park without the worry of fitting into a ride is a reward. Being able to hike 10 miles up a mountain is my reward.

I am close to goal and do not have an ultimate goal reward. If I had the money, a trip to Maui would be in order, but perhaps my planned hike to Havasupai this spring will suffice. It's an 11 mile hike into the canyon. No way in or out except on foot, horseback or helicopter.

Lol. I love your list! You better show us that cat woman suit when you get it! :-)

I Think that for me, losing the weight in and of itself is enough Reward for me. But my ultimate reward is a "mommy makeover" and a crap ton of pretty bras!!!!!!

I reward myself all the time so I don't need to purchase anything. Losing the weight is enough reward. :) :)

I'm not really sure. I have achieved rewards a few times in the past but never collected them. I just can't get myself to spend the money. At least I know I earned them.

I figure there are some things I am going to have to buy as a I lose weight... clothes and shoes, I'll have to update my hair and makeup. I want to get LASIK and get rid of my glasses. Some little, some big as the time comes. I guess I don't really have numbers in mind, I'll just know when it's time.
