  1. So I have been totally expecting my first stall and I think it is finally here. Was just wondering if anyone could tell me how long their stalls lasted and if they did anything to kick yourself out of it? Thanks!
  2. It's in the special interest forum Inthink.
  3. Not 100% sure but when I went to Mexico for surgery I brought jello packs on the plane they werent gonna let me but I said please this is all I can eat I am going for surgery and they said ok. So if all else fails you can try that. Good luck!
  4. Thank you giys so much, I have strept throat and was starting to panic a little when the dr told me I need antibiotics.
  5. Can anyone please tell me if it is ok to take antibiotics following surgery? I was sleeved on Jan 9th.
  6. I am very nervous of this as well as I have really thin hair and a bald spot already from when I was a kid. I started taking biotin before surgery and continue with that as well as silica and just recently started to use nioxin hair products. Was sleeved a few weeks ago and know its early but gonna try my best to minimize the hair loss before it starts, but I have to accept its the price I may have to pay in exchange for the weight loss. Fingers crossed for everybody as I find this almost the scariest part of having the surgery.
  7. I would say after a week you would probably be good! I personally got my energy back and felt way better after a week and I was able to go clear fluids to full fluids.
  8. For protein intake I am mixing the nectar fuzzy navel flavour with a ready to go protein drink like isopure (couldn't find the isopure here) it watermelon flavoured and has 42g of protein it. So I mix a scoop of the peach nectar which is 23g and half a otter of the watermelon so half is like 21g of protein. Been mixing it then adding a lite bit f water and ice and it literally tastes like Tang!
  9. Think it would be ok, haha! Oops missed that party. Just remember everyone heals differently so maybe be prepared to take more time off if it is needed. Good luck with everything!
  10. I am only about 2 1/2 weeks out but the only tests I had were a blood test and an EKG. That's it but I think it depends on the doctor. As for going back to work I think it would depend what time of work you are doing. I would definitely be avoiding heavy lifting etc.
  11. I was sleeved on the 9th and lost the same amount in my first when I went to full fluids it didnt seem like the weight was coming off, it was staying the same. So I feeling a little frustrated but I weighed myself yesterday and its starting to go down again! 8lbs towards your goal keep it up! Thats great!
  12. Puerto Vallarta Mexico, had wonderful experience! Paid 6500 and really only a month wait time! Beautiful hospital and great staff!

  15. Can anyone recommend some good shampoos and conditioners to use? Taking the necessary vitamins and getting the protein in, just wanna try and take all necessary precautions. Thanks so much!
  16. So I was sleeved on Jan 9th with no complications, except a little burning feeling in one of,my incision scars. But my question is how do I know when my stomach is full. Not getting any signs and scared I am gonna over eat. I am getting my proteins, vitamins and water in and am only down 8lbs since the 9th. Been on a 8 labs weight loss for almost a week. Is this normal, because I am feeling frustrated. Amy helpful hints would be much appreciated, thanks so much!

  19. Just wondering if anyone has actually experienced minimal hair loss after their surgery? Or should I expect to be bald after my surgery, I am really scared about this as I have super thin hair already and a bald spot on the side of my head from when I was a kid! This scares me more than having the surgery on the 9th.
  20. Countdown is on! Surgery on the 9th. Having a hard time dealing with the fact that I have to leave my son for a week. Everytime I think about it makes me start to get teary eyed
  21. On day two of preop diet and I was wondering if any could recommend some sugar free popsicles. I briefly looked at WalMart but there was too many tempting other items next to the popsicles.
