Well I am now 11 weeks pregnant and baby and I are both doing fine. I have lost a few pounds but only about 6 which is good. Eating is a struggle to get all my Protein in and try to eat veggies and fruits that baby needs. I had my first ultrasound to make sure baby is fine and thank god baby is good. We will be monitored closely but just as a precaution. Morning sickness was rough at first but is calming down. I go in next week to see both the doc and will have more to report then. :) thank you to everyone with your kind words and thoughts!

I am so freaked out right now...I'm only 7 weeks post op and just found out I'm pregnant. I emailed my dr but haven't heard back. I was not planning this at all and we think I may have gotten preggers just before the surgery. I know my dr had me sign something about waiting 18 months...truth is we were done having kids and I never thought this would happen. I just don't know what to do. Any sleeves out there pregnant so soon after surgery? Any input?

I dont know how you feel about this but I would abort if it happened to me.

I didnt get a chance to read the entire thing because I am mobile right now, after the fact I did see that. Its ok through, was just stating what I would do.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to know what's going on before giving advice or opinion?

Just saying...

It wasnt advice, just my thoughts on what I would do as a fellow patient of childbearing age. Im still learning how to use the VST app, but I refuse to be shot down for offering my thoughts on the subject. Thats what a forum is for. Seems to mw that perhaps you dont like the choice, which is also fine. I would never push that on someone who wasnt considering that but there is not one single thing wrong with me stating what I would do other than the fact that I didnt realize this wasnt a new thread, which I already acknowledged previously.

I like how you handled yourself. I get it. She asked and you gave your opinion. I didn't think it was rude. She's happily pregnant and healthy. It's all good.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
