almost sounds like white chili. that's made with canned chicken and the kids love it but its made with northern beans instead of kidney beans. i\the recipe is on the back of the mccormick seasoning pack for white chili and i add diced tomatoes to mine. yummy! add fat free sour cream and fat free cheddar cheese to the top. :)

Sounds great. Think I'm gonna try a veggie version with non-chicken - chicken broth.

wow !!!! i made this up the night before and i absolutley loved it . a 1/2 c is all i could manage to eat !!!! i scooped what was left into 1/2 c size containers i got at dollar tree in the baby section and popped em in the freeze ! definatley one of the best things i ate since my surgery dec. 8 ! thank u for sharing !!! :)

Thanks for sharing! I just started this in the crock pot and can't wait for dinner!

I didnt drain the Beans so hopefully it still turns out.

YUM!!

OK I have had this on my to make for about 2 months...

I just made it. And it is spicy for my tiny tummy! My kids and husband love it though!!!!

I did mine quick on the stove in under 10 min!!!

Served the fam Bam theirs with chips and non fat shredded cheese and they are all happy campers!

This is a quick meal stove top!

Sounds delish!!!!!

My wife and I made this tonight it went down smooth and tasted great thank you for sharing.

I'm not sure how many ounces it is but it's about twice the size of a can of tuna. I usually just but the cheapest no certain brand. I only use one can but you can put as much in as you want. I read that someone did cook it on the stove with good results.

thx so much... just thinking ahead about new recipes that i can try... looking forward to this once im able to eat solid foods. I was sleeved DEC. 28th. if you have any more Soup recipes please share. I love taco soup in my old life i would add all kinds of cooked ground beef Beans veggies whole/cream style corn taco seasoning ranch dressing in the pack and load it with fritos on the bottom and sour cream and cheese on top.... I actually made a pot not too long ago because i knew i would never have this version again(lol) :D I honestly dont believe i will miss it i just have to become more creative in the kitchen

Thx

No prob! Anytime. That's what we're here for! Most of my recipes are just things I've thrown together and hoped it turned out. I'll list a few of my favs and you can see if you like them. Congrats on your sleeve. I was sleeved 10/16/12 and down 68 lbs. the first 6 weeks were hell, but once I got through that I am doing very well. Anyway, here's a few of my fav recipes for full/soft foods:

Canned chicken breast chicken marinated in Italian dressing. (Best after few hours in fridge)

Egg salad with dill seasoning

Cream cheese on saltines

Canned chicken breast chicken with pesto, goat cheese, and sundried tomatoes (I put 3 canned chicken undrained in crockpot with pesto, for few hours then top with goat cheese and sundried tomatoes (I use Classico Sundried Tomato Pesto and Knorr Creamy Pesto Sauce)

I make tortilla soup with a store bought rotisserie chicken, taco seasoning, black Beans, chili powder, can of rotel, 2 cans of cream of chicken soup, one soup can filled with Water.

It all sounds great! Thanks for sharing. I put cream cheese on saltines too and sprinkle Sunny Paris seasoning on it. You can find this seasoning at Penzy Spices and it's great on everything.

congrats jhumphries on the weight loss... keep it up!! Striving to get to where you are one day at a time!

Blessings,

TD
