December 27, 201213 yr I'm trying this out today. It's been in the crock pot about an hour. It seems really thick - more like a dip than a soup. Is this the consistency others have gotten or did I miss a step or ingredient?
December 28, 201213 yr Author I'm trying this out today. It's been in the crock pot about an hour. It seems really thick - more like a dip than a soup. Is this the consistency others have gotten or did I miss a step or ingredient? You can add some chicken broth. It should be creamy but not a dip.
December 30, 201213 yr Made it for dinner. Seved with tortilla chips to the rest of the family. Teenagers and hubby loved it. It was really easy to make. This dish is going into rotation. Thanks for sharing.
December 30, 201213 yr What is rotella? rotel tomatoes are basically just a specific brand of diced tomatoes with varying degrees of hot chiles (mild, or hot). they are typically with the mexican foods or in the tomato sauce/paste/diced isle. if you can't find them just use a can of diced tomatoes with green chiles
